Naligaw ako sa freelancing and na-overwhelmed din ako when I started my freelance business. Newbie ako and kinakapa ko pa yung mga dapat kong gawin.
And at one point, dumating ako sa point na, "HALA! Ang daming projects. Nalulunod na ko sa daming need gawin. SABAY-SABAY PA DEADLINES!!!" 😨
Naiisip ko palagi if ako ba yung mahina, kasi andiyan na yung blessings and work eh, pero bakit nahihirapan pa din ako mag-manage???
Ang ginagawa ko pa dati ay yung may corporate work pa ko, plus on the side yung freelancing ko as a Notion consultant. WHILEEE I’m managing my content sa social media, managing the clients, and managing the projects. (Plus, husband + WFH daddy din ako with my toddler)
Na-apektuhan na yung delivery ng work ko sa corporate as an IT and yung sa Notion clients ko, kasi humahaba lalo yung turn around time and delayed deliverables ko.
Pati health ko got really bad din, puyat always, lagi kong iniisip yung work eh, then 5am gising palagi and matatapos ng 9pm.
Ending burned out ako sa day job ko, and burned out din ako sa freelancing ko, and di na ko makapag-close ng new clients kasi nga ang gulo-gulo pa nitong current projects ko.
And worst of it all… kulang na uli time ko kay Jen and Darius, ang sakit sa puso — shame and guilt are legit.
